The structured HTTP alternative is POST /v2/search with the request object itself, without the outer request wrapper.

Search needs no Finder account, payment or telemetry consent. Coverage is limited to the frozen catalogue; no-match does not mean a capability is unavailable elsewhere. Prices, provider execution and availability are unverified. Finder executes no provider calls.

Optional repeat-use measurement: read /privacy and opt in explicitly. Set telemetry_consent true without an installation_token to receive a random token, then resubmit with that token plus random task_session_id and idempotency_key values. Identifiers must be 16-128 letters, digits, underscores or hyphens. Retain the token privately across separate tasks only with consent; reuse a task_session_id only within one task. Reuse an idempotency_key only for retries of the same request. Outcomes are caller declarations, not verified purchases. Smoke tests must use origin owner_test. Never send task URLs, prompts or provider keys.
